Stormwater Systems Engineering Intern

Built EPA SWMM models of campus urban drainage networks and analyzed monitoring data to simulate runoff routing, hydraulic behavior, and stormwater retention during extreme precipitation events.
Deployed hydrologic monitoring systems across 10 stormwater BMPs to evaluate runoff attenuation, infiltration performance, and water quality response in urban catchments.
Applied GIS and AutoCAD to delineate urban catchments, characterize subsurface drainage infrastructure, and support assessment of green stormwater infrastructure systems.

Urban Flood Hydrology Modeling Intern

Developed a random forest-based urban flood susceptibility model for Tashkent, Uzbekistan by integrating DEM, rainfall intensity, and land-use datasets using Google Earth Engine and Python.
Utilized QGIS and geospatial datasets to delineate and compare river networks and watershed characteristics across the Chirchiq, Raritan, and Kiso River basins.
Evaluated urban flood mitigation strategies across Kyoto and Princeton watersheds, including detention basins, levees, and distributed green stormwater infrastructure under extreme rainfall conditions.

Environmental Fluid Dynamics Research Intern

Assisted in developing a Lagrangian Particle Tracking (LPT) system for field experiments investigating turbulent atmospheric wake flows behind wind turbines.
Deployed and monitored instrumented balloon tracers to measure velocity fluctuations and turbulent transport processes in the atmospheric boundary layer.
Processed atmospheric flow trajectory data to investigate turbulent transport and environmental fluid dynamics in high-Reynolds-number flows.
